Christmas calling from the Frontline

We’re delighted to say that thanks to our Miles More Minutes campaign, 3,000 RAF personnel will get extra call time to phone home over the Christmas period.
For security reasons, they can only use welfare telephone lines, accessed by special telephone cards. Each card gives 20 more minutes precious talk time to chat with their loved ones making them feel closer to home at Christmas.

Trekking the trail

After months of planning, training and fundraising, a trio of trekkers from RAF Lyneham and RAF Marham completed the Great Wall of China trail to raise money for the RAF Association’s Wings Appeal.

Flt Sgt Nik Guy, Cpl Katie Hawksworth and Shelley Yeaman spent six days trekking along the 6000km Great Wall raising thousands of pounds for the Wings Appeal in the process.
